The Gelab S.r.l. analysis laboratory, based in Calcinato (BS), Via Cavicchione di Sotto 1, was born in September 2000 as an internal monitoring unit which verifies the chemical aspects of the activities of some Gabeca Group companies. The monitoring, which began in 2000, of the activities carried out by Gedit S.p.A. in the ecology sector, in 2004 added monitoring the mineral water and soft drinks produced by Società Paradiso S.p.A.

Whilst giving priority to assignments from Gabeca clients, the Gelab S.r.l. structure is organised in such a way that it can also perform analyses for external customers. In 2010 the Gelab laboratory achieved the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification with the following purpose and scope: Carrying out chemical and chemical-physical analyses aimed at the search for micro-pollutants and the monitoring of environmental matrices.
