Grandi Riso is the fourth Italian producer of rice. The company deals with rice processing and packaging in the factory of Codigoro (Fe), which occupies an area of about 70 thousand square metres.

The activity is part of the traditional rice production chain which operates in the lower Ferrara area, representing de facto the commercial and distribution brand of the territory's rice production. The company is equipped with all the plants and equipment necessary for the various stages of paddy rice processing.

This feature, unique in Italy, envisages 14 paddy drying plants with a capacity of about 750 tons per day complete with a specific sector for the storage and warehousing of dried paddy rice with a total storage capacity of about 23 thousand tons (subdivided over 206 40,000 sqm silos and warehouses with a storage capacity of 130,000 tons). The warehouse for storing finished products spreads over an area of about 8 thousand square metres.

From 2017, Grandi Riso is the only Italian rice production company at the Fico Eataly World in Bologna.
